Support at Adventurous Heart Therapy is grounded in connection, collaboration, and a whole-human approach. I work with deeply feeling children, teens, and adults who are navigating anxiety, perfectionism, shame, and emotional overwhelm, and are looking for therapy that feels responsive and real.

Ways to Work Together

book now

Therapy begins with weekly or biweekly sessions to build trust and momentum, with frequency adjusted over time. Goals are shaped collaboratively, with ongoing feedback to ensure care remains responsive, ethical, and aligned with each client’s needs.

Collaborative Process

Sessions may include conversation, movement, creative expression, or real-time experiences, depending on what feels most supportive. This flexible approach helps clients engage more fully and practice skills in ways that feel natural and meaningful.

Relational & Experiential Care

Therapy honors neurodivergence as a natural variation of human experience, not something to fix. Together, we focus on self-understanding, regulation, and building skills that support daily life, relationships, and emotional well-being.

A Neurodivergent-Affirming Lens

Individual therapy at Adventurous Heart Therapy is designed for deeply feeling, neurodivergent children, teens, and adults who are navigating anxiety, perfectionism, shame, and emotional overwhelm.

Book Now

An experiential approach to mental health care that integrates movement, creativity, and real-time experiences into the therapeutic process.

While some sessions may take place outdoors, this approach is always intentionally adapted to the client and may also occur in office-based settings.

By engaging both body and mind, clients can practice skills, work through emotions, and build insight as experiences unfold.

Adventure therapy is especially supportive for neurodivergent and deeply feeling clients who find traditional talk therapy limiting. Emma is a Certified Clinical Adventure Therapist (CCAT) through the Association for Experiential Education.
